Dr. Ashley Diane Okotie-Eboh, MD

After graduating from Southern Methodist University with a B.S. in biological sciences and a B.A. in psychology, Dr. Ashley Okotie-Eboh earned her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She completed her residency in the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Okotie-Eboh provides primary care for patients of all ages. She is board certified in family medicine and holds additional certificates in pediatric life support (PALS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), advanced life support in obstetrics (ALSO), neonatal resuscitation (NRP) and etonogestrel birth control implantation.

She treats a variety of conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, gastric and intestinal disorders and common musculoskeletal conditions, as well as mental health issues. Her special clinical interests are mental health and preventive medicine.

Dr. Okotie-Eboh’s approach to care, which focuses on treating her patients as family members, is inspired by her loved ones who have struggled with their health—particularly mental health—concerns. Her background and training have given her a special understanding of the role culture plays in medicine and how it affects diet, lifestyle and other health-related issues.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association and Christian Medical and Dental Association.

In her spare time Dr. Okotie-Eboh, a resident of southwest Houston, enjoys baking with her husband, singing on the worship team at her church, jogging and Zumba®.
